Preamble

The Aboriginal Housing Action Circle will be guided by the Wicihitowin – Circle of Shared Responsibility and together we call each other into the circle. We call for guidance as we stand together side by side as brothers and sisters, and commit to do work for the common good of all. At the centre of our circle is a spiritual core that we call upon to give us guidance for the benefit of many generations to come

Vision

The Aboriginal Housing Action Circle leads and influences an integrated holistic continuum of housing based on community priorities

Mission

A circle of partners sharing responsibility to develop strategies, initiatives and projects to lead and influence housing for the urban Aboriginal community.

Purpose

Respecting the Wicihitowin – Circle of Shared Responsibility, the Aboriginal Housing Action Circle is established to build, promote and strengthen new and existing partnerships aimed at addressing the community identified current and emerging priorities of shelter and housing for the Edmonton Urban Aboriginal community.
